I grew up in Melbourne, Bangkok and Albury.
After training as a teacher, I worked in Perth, the hills of Nepal and downtown Tokyo.
Now I live on the south coast of Western Australia.

The 2010 Perth Writers Festival (Feb 25-March1) was a whirl of interesting talks, panels, workshops and parties. It was great to catch up with friends from across WA and interstate.

Friday 5th March I visited St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School in Karrinyup. How lovely to talk to and then be surrounded by these talented young women - they even gave me flowers!!

The annual CBC Night of Stars was held at Westbooks on Thursday 4th. It was another great night with 20 children’s authors and illustrators racing the egg timer to speak for 3 minutes about a recent publication.
