Julia Gillard in AlbanyPrime Minister Julia Gillard came to Albany yesterday to visit Mt Clarence and hear plans for the proposed 2014 reenactment of the WW1 ANZAC convoy. I was honoured to speak with her briefly and to mention our Albany ‘lighthouse girl’. Hopefully Fay’s story gave the PM some nice inflight reading for the jet flight home…
